The AO Research Institute Davos (ARI) contributes high quality applied preclinical research and development within trauma and disorders of the musculoskeletal system and translation of this knowledge, as well as investigates and improves the performance of surgical procedures, devices, and substances to achieve more effective patient care worldwide. It fosters a close relationship with the AO’s medical community, academic societies, and universities and provides a research environment and support for AO clinicians.
This job opportunity is in the Biomedical Materials focus area at ARI, where we design advanced biomaterials and develop (bio)manufacturing technologies to achieve improved patient care and outcomes in musculoskeletal disorders. We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Senior Technician who will play a crucial role in supporting our research projects by contributing to the development of novel biomaterials for regenerative medicine applications.
Responsibilities include ensuring a safe and productive laboratory environment, conducting safety and chemical training, performing chemical synthesis, and utilizing material characterization techniques.
