The EFTA Secretariat serves the four EFTA States – Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland – and has offices in Geneva, Brussels and Luxemburg.
The Administration Division (ADM) provides internal services and support to the whole organisation,
including in the fields of facilities management, finance, human resources and information technology.
This position is open to nationals of the EFTA States (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and
Switzerland).
Job description
The position entails working hands on with controlling and financial reporting.
The Finance Officer is also expected to be able to lead improvement initiatives within the Administration division.
Responsibilities include:
The financial officer will be a part of the financial department within the administration division and
reports directly to the Head of Finance.
The financial department consists of 4 staff members, the Head of Finance, the Financial Officer and two Finance Coordinators. The financial department is responsible for the financial management of the organization with offices in Brussels, Luxemburg and Geneva, as well as EFTA’s Financial Mechanism Office.
