Job description The position entails working hands on with controlling and financial reporting. The Finance Officer is also expected to be able to lead improvement initiatives within the Administration division. Responsibilities include: Financial reporting and analysis Controlling of accounting and coordinating the year-end closure process Project management of business improvement processes Acting as Head of Finance when necessary The financial officer will be a part of the financial department within the administration division and reports directly to the Head of Finance. The financial department consists of 4 staff members, the Head of Finance, the Financial Officer and two Finance Coordinators. The financial department is responsible for the financial management of the organization with offices in Brussels, Luxemburg and Geneva, as well as EFTA’s Financial Mechanism Office.
